Girls -- powered by http://www.magicrpm.com
Lawrence interviewed Christopher Owens and Chet Jr White of Girls, whose excellent album (or “Album” as it’s titled) reveals that Felt are a major influence (Curls wouldn’t sound out of place on Me And A Monkey On The Moon, for example, while Lust For Life would sit very comfortably next to the early Cherry Red singles).
The interview is fascinating, revealing as much about Felt as it does about Girls. The blurb on the host site says it’s the first episode, so hopefully they’ll be uploading more footage soon.

I love how the Girls guy looks as if he's seen his future self in Lawrence and is scared shitless
Thanks, Daniel. Lawrence and the, uh, Girls are a lot more relaxed in that second part.
I don't see that future recognition you describe. Admiration and kinship, yes, but fear? No.
Haha I probably wasn't clear. I meant the physical appearence of Lawrence with the cap, nasty hair and, well, everything. Add, what, twenty years of rockstardom gone wrong and the Girlguy will look just like that
If by "rockstardom gone wrong" you mean heroin, then, yeah, that'll wreak phsyical havoc. Any children reading this: just say no.
Man, Lawrence looks like a scary homeless guy. Saw Girls here in Seattle the other night and Christopher Owens jokingly said that they were "Back In Denim". That pretty much confirmed the suspicion I got from the album that they were into Felt/Denim. Now I see this. They are obviously bigger fans than I imagined.
Speaking of Felt, there are a couple songs on the new Pants Yell record that have a distinct Felt sound to them.
And thirdly:
